PLEASE NOTE: If you purchase any bonsai on this page, you will receive
the bonsai in the photo, not a look-alike.
Japanese Maple is one of the largest, most varied species of tree used in bonsai cultivation.
Its small leaf size, and wide variety of colors, added to its branching and wood growth characteristics
make it a great candidate for addition to any collection. They do not do well indoors
for more than a few hours at a time at any time of the year.
In the fall the leaves turn, and drop.
They are bare from late fall through early spring. A Japanese Maple should not be kept indoors
in winter unless it is in a location where the temperature never goes above 40 to 45 degrees.
